I am a Professor of Software Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal (Canada) where I lead the SWAT Lab. on software development, deployment, maintenance and evolution of AI intensive and cloud based software systems. I am also a Canada CIFAR AI Chair on Trustworthy Machine Learning Software Systems at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute, and a FRQ-IVADO Research Chair on Software Quality Assurance for Machine Learning Applications. Prior to these positions, I was a Research Fellow at Queen's University (Canada), working with the Software Reengineering Research Group and the NSERC/RIM Industrial Research Chair in Software Engineering of Ultra Large Scale Systems. I received a Ph.D in Computer Science from the University of Montreal, under the supervision of Yann-Gaël Guéhéneuc, with the Award of Excellence. I also received a CS-Can/Info-Can Outstanding Young Computer Science Researcher Prize for 2019. My research interests include software maintenance and evolution, cloud engineering, service-centric software engineering, machine learning systems engineering, and dependable and trustworthy artificial intelligence.

I also received a Master's degree in Software Engineering from the National Advanced School of Engineering (Cameroon) and a Master's degree (D.E.A) in Mathematics from the University of Yaounde I (Cameroon). I have experience as Software Engineer at different companies doing research, system design, and project management.

I'm a senior member of IEEE and Computer Society. I'm also a member of ACM
